Perfect Aire Dehumidifier - Reviews and Buying Guide

Perfect Aire is a company that specializes in home comfort products such as air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Perfect Aire is owned by Bigwall Enterprises which has 75 years of business experience. Perfect Aire was formed in 2003 and now offers products all over North America.

Perfect Aire is a green company that focuses on making products that are safe for the environment. The Perfect Aire dehumidifiers use non-ozone depleting refrigerants. The units are also all Energy Star rated. They are very energy efficient, which helps you save a substantial amount yearly on your electricity bill.

The company is still fairly new compared to its competitors, although they have been slowly building up a positive reputation for themselves. The company is based in the United States and has very friendly and helpful staff that can resolve any issues or questions you may have. It is also very easy to reach them directly, whether by phone or e-mail.

As far as durability goes, their products are still fairly new and haven’t been around long enough for us to truly get a good feel for the company. So far, it looks like they are making good quality products. There hasn’t been much feedback saying anything about them breaking down or not working properly after a period of time.

A Perfect Aire dehumidifier can be used in places like:

  • Apartments/Condos
  • Rooms
  • Finished garages
  • Basements (finished or unfinished)

Perfect Aire has a limited amount of dehumidifiers, although they have enough models to cover most household needs. We found the PAD series to be the best option for 2017. You'll find our review of this series of dehumidifiers below. Further below is an overview of the two Perfect Aire dehumidifiers we reviewed in 2012.

2017 Best Rated Perfect Aire Dehumidifiers - PAD Series

PerfectAire offers several fantastic dehumidifiers. The PAD30, PAD50 and PAD70 have the same design and offer most of the same features. The only difference between the three models is their size and power. All three models have auto shut off when the water bucket reaches maximum and auto restart, a timer, 2 fan speeds, and an adjustable humidistat. All three models also feature an easy to access and removable water bucket with handle and water level window, continuous drain option, and water bucket full and check filter indicators. They are also all designed to be inexpensive to run; they are all Energy Star efficient and have a washable, reusable filter. In addition, all three models come with an one year full replacement warranty.

The PAD70 is the largest and most powerful of the three models. It is also the most expensive. It removes up to 70 pints of moisture from the air daily and has a 4500 square foot coverage. It also has a large 12.7 pint water bucket. It retails for around $260

The PAD50 is a mid-sized dehumidifier. Like the PAD70, it has a 12.7 pint water tank. It is suitable for areas up to 3000 square feet and removes up to 50 pints of moisture from the air each day.  It retails for around $190.

The PAD30 is the smallest of the PAD series. It has a 6.3 pint water bucket, is perfect for areas 1500 square feet and under, and removes up to 30 pints of moisture from the air daily. The PAD30 sells for around $180.

All of the models in the PerfectAire PAD series are fantastic. All three models offer the same special features and are made of the same high quality materials; all you have to do is pick the one that has the power for the job you need done and you are sure to be a happy customer.
